The Geneva-Servette Hockey Club Cheerleaders' team was formed in January 2001 by 6 friends who also wanted to create a real atmosphere at the Vernets’ ice-rink. Since then, cheerleaders have been cheerleading the team and entertaining spectators during home games.
The team is made up of 20 girls aged 18 to 33 years old who have been selected thanks to their talent, experience in dance, rhythm, personality and dynamism.
Led by Deborah Geiser, the Wild Eagles train twice a week in the evening, ten months a year for two hours. They take part in all home games where they perform a choreography before the game and at the second break on the ice.
The Geneva Wild Eagles have been runners-up in the Swiss Cheerdance Championship since 2011. Thanks to these titles, they have been participating since 2012 in the European Cheerleading and Cheerdance Championship, where they won 2nd place in the Double Dance Hip Hop category in 2013.
The Geneva Wild Eagles Cheerleaders are proud to represent their team, their city and be part of such an extraordinary team as GSHC.
